Ceruclean Ear Cleanser
Formerly C1/O
Medically Formulated Cleanser
Cleansing, drying, non-irritating
For Dog and Cat Use Only

 

Ceruclean with microcapsules is a non irritant ear cleanser which may be used for routine ear cleansing in healthy ear canals or prior to administration of other ear preparations in the treatment of otitis externa. It may be used in dogs and cats of any age.


Contains: Water, propylene glycol, lactic acid, microcapsules, docusate sodium, salicylic acid, PCMX, dimethicone, fragrance and FD&C blue #1. Lactic acid and salicylic acid are present in encapsulated microcapsules and free forms. Chitosanide is present in encapsulated form.


Directions: Shake well before use. Turn the nozzle to open the product and then apply liberally into the ear canal. Gently rub the base of the ear and then wipe the interior of the ear flap with cotton or a cloth moistened with Ceruclean Ear Cleanser.

Frequency of use: From one to three times a week to daily for routine use, before each ear treatment in the case of otitis externa, or as directed by your veterinarian.


Warning: Keep out of reach of children.


Caution: For animal use only. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush eyes with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Do not use in ears with ruptured tympanic membranes (eardrums).


Storage: Store at controlled room temperature of 59˚-86˚ F.

Cerumotic Ear Cleanser

Cerumotic Ear Cleanser is a routine ear cleanser and de-waxing agent that is gentle and non-acidic.


Contains: 22% squalene, isopropryl myristate, mineral oil.


Directions: Apply to ear and gently, but firmly, massage the base of the ear. Use a cotton ball to remove excess solution. Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian. Use routinely to help prevent wax build-up.


Caution: For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If skin irritation develops or increases, stop use and call your veterinarian. Do not use on severely irritated skin. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Wash hands after use.

Oticetic Flush, Medicated is an ear cleanser and drying agent for dogs and cats with inflamed and infected ears due to bacteria and/or fungi (yeast). Ceramides aid in moisturizing, repairing, and restoring dry, damaged skin.


Contains: 2% boric acid, 1% acetic acid, 1% hydrocortisone, 0.15% ketoconazole, propylene glycol, ceramides, glycerin,
polysorbate, triethanolamine, fragrance.

Oti-Tris Flush is a multi-use TrizEDTA flush for cleansing and/or otic pretreatment.


Contains: TrizEDTA (tromethamine USP, disodium EDTA dehydrate), deionized water.


Directions: Shake well before using. For use as an ear flush: apply to ear and gently, but firmly, massage the base of the ear. For use as on skin: squeeze flush over affected area. Use a cotton ball to remove excess solution. Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian. Close cap tightly.

GlenHaven C/O
Routine Ear Cleaner

GlenHaven C/O is a gentle, ceruminolytic solution with a neutral pH designed for routine ear cleaning.

Properties: gentle, neutral pH, de-waxing, safer for the middle ear

 

Indications: routine ear cleaning of normal or waxy ears; cleaning of ears when the integrity of the eardrum is uncertain.

 

Ingredients: squalene 22% in an isopropyl myristate-liquid petrolatum base

 

Directions: Apply liberally to ear. Gently, but firmly massage the base of the ear. Apply cotton bal to remove excess solution. Routine use helps prevent earwax accumulation. Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian.

The patented formulation is effective for the treatment and prevention of ear infections caused by the yeast Malassezia, the most common organism complicating otitis externa in the dog.

 

Ingredients: 2% Acetic Acid and 2% Boric Acid with surfactants.

 

Directions: Apply GlenHaven F1/O liberally to the ear. Gently massage your Pet's ear to break up accumulated wax. Clean the accessible part of your Pet's ear with a cotton ball or baby wipe. GlenHaven P1/O
Medically Formulated Ear Solution

GlenHaven P1/O is an ideal solution for treating and preventing the recurrence of pseudomonal ear infections. GlenHaven P1/O contains Tris-EDTA, which breaks down and increases the permeability of the cell wall in gram-negative bacteria, thereby enhancing antibiotic activity. Tris-EDTA is gentle and safe to use if the tympanum is compromised.

 

Ingredients: Tromethamine (Tris) USP, Edetate Disodium Dihydrate (EDTA) USP, buffered to pH 8 with Tromethamine HCl in deionized water.

 

Directions: Shake the bottle well before each use. Apply GlenHaven P1/O liberally to the ear canal. Gently massage your Pet's ear to break up accumulated wax. Clean the accessible part of your Pet's ear with a cotton ball or baby wipe. Apply GlenHaven P1/O weekly or as directed by a veterinarian. While actively treating an infection, your veterinarian may suggest cleaning the ear with P1/O approximately 30 minutes prior to applying an antibiotic drop.
